High Low Ruffle Top

Peplum top (Under $20, fit: TTS) | Jeans | Wedges | Similar bag | Lipgloss ‘Kristen’ | Watch | Earrings | Ring, cuff and link bracelet

Good morning! I hope everyone had an amazing weekend. This week is going to be a crazy one. I’m working three days and then heading to a mini vacay in New Orleans! My roomie and I have a travel list and we’re switching between in-country to out of country trips. Neither of us have been to NOLA so we’re checking it off our list! We’ve received so many great recommendations, needless to say we’re pumped! P.S. If any of my readers have ever visited the city, please share any recommendations you have!

I wanted to share this outfit I wore over the weekend because I’ve received so many questions about this top. First off, I’ve bought a lot of pieces from Shein over the past few years and I’m consistently pleased with their quality. Sizing is a little off from time to time, but I have no other complaints! Secondly, this is by far one of my favorite pieces. The fabric is a little stretchy so it’s super comfortable, and I’m obsessed with the high-low detail! I also wore this top at work with simple trousers ($55 and so comfy!) and block heels for a minimalist, chic look!

Favorites Back In Stock

Cardigan (back in stock in new colors!) | Dress (similar under $40) | Similar shoes (love these too) | tote bag | Necklace | Earrings | Watch | Sunglasses

I’ve never been a huge fan of malls. I’d much rather get my shopping done online than fighting Charlotte crowds. However, I make a huge exception to visit Madewell almost every month. I know, that’s pretty excessive, but it’s one of my absolute favorite brands and I was never close to a store until I moved to the city. I go there for so many of the essentials in my closet: denim, jackets, tops, and most of all… cardigans!

I bought the Ryder cardi last year before a beach trip and I’ve worn it year round since then. It’s super soft and lightweight so it’s perfect with a simple tank or dress for hot weather and layered with button-downs for fall. I was so pumped to find that the cardigan is back this season in new colors. I’m definitely going back for fog and navy!

Also, I never seem to catch this dress when it’s fully in stock because it’s so popular. I finally found an identical dress for under $40 and it comes in a ton of colors! I think I like this version a lot more because A) it’s jersey material so it’s super soft and B) IT HAS POCKETS! I mean, what more could a girl want?

Cozy Weekend Look

Cardigan (40% off! love the camel color too) | Tank (only $20) | Shorts | Booties | Tote bag | Similar ball cap | Watch c/o | Ring | Lip Butter ‘Abu Dhabi’

Good morning! I hope you all had an amazing weekend. For the first time in a long time, I spent the majority of my weekend away from any type of work. It felt so good to unplug and not be worried about the blog or Instagram for a few days, but I’d be lying if I said I didn’t miss it!

I wanted to share this casual and cozy weekend look since this cardigan got so much attention last time I wore it on Instagram. I’m starting to incorporate more of my favorite fall pieces into my wardrobe, including these booties. I paired them with denim shorts – which I’m trying to get as much wear out of as possible before it’s too cold – a soft tank (on sale!), and my favorite ball cap, perfect for bad hair days. This is definitely one of my go-to outfits on days when I feel like putting minimal effort into my look, but still want to look put together!
