There’s nothing I love more than a fall staple that’s classic, cozy and something I know I’ll be able to wear for years to come. The weather has been chilly enough for me to bring out some of my favorite pieces from last fall and some new ones including this Talbots coat. The camel color goes with everything in my closet and I love the ruffle detail! I wore it during the day with a suede skirt and boots and I plan on wearing it with a simple dress and heels for date night!
It feels good to be home after a busy weekend. Ed and I went to the mountains and I can’t wait to share the photos we took! So stay tuned for that and some fun activities to check out if you’re visiting the North Carolina mountains for the first time.
Fall weather is finally here! We’ve had ridiculously hot weather in Charlotte lately, so I was more than happy to break out some of my favorite sweaters last weekend including this Club Monaco poncho that I picked up in Charleston. It’s super soft and has the cutest bow detail on the sleeves. The poncho sweater is a favorite of mine for chilly weather with jeans and booties. It will definitely come with me to the mountains this weekend! I also found some budget-friendly options including this convertible cashmere version, this gorgeous neutral poncho, andthis one under $70.
Good morning, and happy first day of fall! I’ve been waiting for this day for months, and obviously started dressing for the season a long time ago. I can’t wait for all of the fall festivities, holidays, and spending time with family and friends!
I wore this outfit a few weeks ago, and you may have seen it on Instagram. My favorite cardigan came back for another season in brand new colors, and I’ve been on the hunt for a pretty light-nude. The material is super soft and looks nice with dresses too. The best part is that it’s under $100 and comes in 6 different colors! I’m thinking I need the Clay color next, it’s the perfect fall color! Also, I always receive questions about where I bought these boots. I couldn’t find the exact pair, but I did find very similar boots here, here, and here.
