“Have you ever seen a more beautiful staircase?” Those were the first words that left my mouth when Ed and I parked our car in front of The Ballastone Inn last Friday night. Nestled away in the heart of The Historic District in Savannah, Georgia, we spent our first weekend exploring Savannah as guests of The Ballastone Inn. As one of the first bed and breakfasts in the Historic District, you can really feel the rich history and elegance of the inn as soon as you step foot on the staircase. We woke up bright and early before breakfast on Saturday morning to capture the morning light as best as we could. The rising sun peaking through the giant, moss-covered oaks was really something to behold. I wore this floral maxi dress for our first full day in the city and it was perfect for the hot, humid weather. This wicker cross-body bag is my new favorite accessory. I’ve carried it with me nonstop since I bought it for our trip!
