Chocolate Covered Strawberry Nice Cream

one two

Ingredients:

3 bananas, frozen

1 cup of strawberries, frozen

1/4 cup of almond milk

2-3 heaped tbsp raw cacao (depending on how strong you want it to be)

1tsp Organic Burst Maca

cacao nibs for garnish (if you don’t like the taste, cut up some dark chocolate and throw it on!)

Directions:

Blend all ingredients together in a food processor, and let it work it’s magic! Really the only time you need to open it is to scrape down the sides with a spatula. Let the food processor do most of the work.

Serve immediately in a bowl or cup, add garnish right before serving! Or… just eat all the garnish before you’re done like I did…

After trying a few, I’ve realized my favorite part about nana ice cream recipes is how ridiculously easy it is to make and manipulate to put your own spin on it. If you’ve never tried nana ice cream, you need to ASAP. This recipe in particular is great for those chocolate cravings!

I added a little Maca powder to this recipe, which is awesome because it gives me extra energy before going to the gym. It has so many health benefits, as do the other Organic Burst powders. This one in particular blends really well with the chocolate flavor. (In case you were wondering, this is not a sponsored post. I discovered this brand while looking at a few food blogs and decided to try it!)

I hope you all enjoy this recipe! Please let me know if you enjoy posts like these, so that I can plan for more in the future!
