When you guys plan a date night, do you like to go out, or are you more of a homebody? As much as Ed and I love going out and trying new restaurants or going to a concert to see one of our favorite bands, we love staying in equally as much. After a long work week, it feels good to put our phones down and focus on each other with no distractions!
Our favorite thing to do is open a bottle of wine, make a charcuterie board (we’re both cheese obsessed) and light a few candles to make our date night extra cozy. Our favorite right now is Bridgewater Candle Company’s Time After Time candle. The scent is a really nice mix of feminine and masculine, so it’s not too sweet or too woodsy once the scent fills the room.

We love a fun brewery or a good movie! I also love our out of the country trips because the phones don’t work and that’s just THE best!!
My favorite date night would be snuggling up be a fire listening to great music and light ing many candles all over the room. I’d have delicious wine , cheese and caviar { dreaming } and my mans undivided attention for hours on end. We would talk about dreams things we both loved to do together, laugh and hug and be silly like school children then sleep and wake in each other’s arms wanting for this feeling to never end.. true story.
My favorite date night is a movie and pizza! I feel like I am normally exhausted from running around during the workweek that something simple like that is so appreciated. Also candles never hurt as well! 🙂
We love doing wine tastings! And movies together. Out or at home, definitely more intimate at home plus no need to get a sitter…
A nice dinner out and then a special event that has come to town is always a great time! We love venturing out of our comfort zones together 🙂
Our date night looks similar to yours – some good television, a nice meal at home. We even have a similar dog to yours. Jack Russell?
Since he works all the time, our ideal date night is staying in ordering a pizza. We might rent a movie or watch YouTube. Just being together.
My ideal date night is when we get to be all alone. I don’t care where we are or what we do as long as it’s just the two of us. Ahhh… the things we take for granted! Lol
My ideal date night is a bonfire with a glass of wine for myself and a beer for my husband after the kids are in bed.
My perfect date night is going hiking but I also love a good date night at home!
