When I think of summer, one of the first things that comes to mind is, “I FINALLY GET TO BREAK OUT MY WICKER BAG COLLECTION!” It’s my favorite thing. As soon as the weather warms up, I break those babies out of my closet. I buy all of mine on Etsy, for 3 reasons. The first being that you will never find better variety than you will on Etsy, period. Second, the prices are unbeatable. If you see a $200 wicker or straw bag on Shopbop, do yourself a favor and spend 5 minutes on Etsy before buying that bag. You WILL find one similar, if not identical, for a fraction of the price. Lastly, you have access to bags handmade by vendors from all over the world, even from highly coveted spots like Bali and Morocco. You know exactly who’s making your bag and where it’s coming from, which is definitely not the kind of experience you get when you’re shopping at a boutique or large retailer.
