It’s finally the weekend! My brother is coming into town to help my parents move. They have lived right outside of Charlotte, NC for three years and now, they’re moving back to the small town that my brother and I grew up in. Visiting is always bittersweet because I have so many fond memories there. However, I was much younger, awkward and immature. They’ve become memories that I’ve tucked away ever since leaving for college to really begin my life as an adult. Despite that, it’s something that will bring our family together for the weekend and I can’t complain about that!
The weather has been so beautiful this week that we’ve visited downtown frequently for walks and iced coffee. I spotted this flower wall outside a gorgeous church and knew it would make for the perfect shoot during golden hour. There’s nothing like watching a city come into full bloom during spring. There are colorful flowers everywhere and the city seems to spring to life. I snagged this MLM top (another off-shoulder, shocking I know) during the Shopbop sale because I couldn’t resist its romantic, soft layers of fabric. Plus, it actually has sleeves making it much more comfortable to wear for a long period of time. The tiny gingham print is so cute, everything about this top screams femininity and springtime which is why I couldn’t resist it!
