I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend! I went with a few friends to a restaurant called Capital Grille on Friday for Charlotte restaurant week, and it was amazing! It’s one of those places you should definitely experience at least once if you live in Charlotte. Add it to your list – especially if you feel like going all out!

I tend to reach for my closet staples on the weekends – especially shift dresses because they’re so cozy and cute without putting too much effort into the outfit choice. I wore this striped dress yesterday with comfy lace-up sandals, one of my favorite recent purchases. The heel height is perfect! I cinched a denim pullover around my waist (although I didn’t end up needing to wear it, it was SO hot this weekend!) to make the fit even more flattering. I wear this dress year round – paired with leggings (Love these, part of the Nordstrom Anniversary sale!) and boots in the fall for an effortless look!
