If you’re already aware of the sale, you know it’s the perfect opportunity to stock up on fall and winter clothing, summer must-haves, and accessory and beauty products that are on your wishlist. WHY SO MUCH HYPE?
Nordstrom releases brand new merchandise specifically for this sale at a heavily discounted price. Typically, stores release new seasonal merchandise at full-price and eventually discount them. Nordstrom items are released on sale for a period of time and slowly work their way back up to normal prices by August 6.
WHAT’S EARLY ACCESS?
If you’re a Nordstrom Cardholder, you gain early access to the sale, which means you get to shop the sale before it’s open to the public on July 21. If you’re not a cardholder but interested in shopping early, you can apply for a card here! Signing up is super easy. I absolutely love mine and it comes with great perks like Nordstrom notes (giftcards). The sale ends on August 6 and prices go back to normal.
HOW DO I MAKE THE MOST OF THE SALE?
Items sell out quickly, so it’s important to go in knowing exactly what you want so that you don’t have to wait for things to be restocked.
Is there anything missing from your wardrobe? Is it time for a new everyday watch? Are your fall and winter bags starting to look worn? Are your jeans torn from so much wear? (This sale is a great time to shop denim!) If you know what you need before shopping online or in store, you won’t spend nearly as much time blindly searching. That may sound silly, but it definitely saves time and ensures that you’ll purchase items that you really want!

Don’t forget the beauty exclusives! I love shopping the gift sets, you never really find these beauty products for this price anywhere else. I stocked up on my favorite lip color and the serum I use to grow my eyelashes, which I NEVER get at this price.
