I’m ridiculously excited that we are FINALLY seeing some sunshine! I feel as if I haven’t seen the sun in weeks, even though it’s only been a few days. We were extremely lucky here in Rock Hill to only catch some rain and wind from the hurricane. I hope that those severely affected by the storm are safe and sound with their families!
I’m making a point to go a little out of my comfort zone this fall with a few pieces, and I feel good doing so because after a long time, I think I’ve finally settled into my personal style. When I started this blog, I was so focused on what I thought other people wanted to see that I started losing my sense of style. Over the past few months, I think I figured it out and it’s pretty simple. I like lots of neutrals, investment pieces mixed with affordable ones, and feminine looks with a little edge. Thankfully, my following seems to like it because it has grown exponentially. So, before I get off my soapbox, thanks to everyone who has stuck by me, and to those who are new to my blog! Thank you all so much for following along!
Back to going a little out of my comfort zone. I’m usually not one to be drawn towards pleated skirts, a midi at that. But something about this one screamed fall and I knew it would look so cozy with a chunky knit and booties. I’ve also paired it with my favorite heels and a leather jacket for a night look, which you may have seen on Instagram.
