The snow gods heard my prayers, we woke up to beautiful flurries on Wednesday morning! Ed and I ventured out during our lunch break to pick a beautiful spot to take some photos. My favorite thing about Ed being my photographer is his ability to take great candid shots. Obviously there are FAR more bad than good (blame the blogger!) We spend a lot of time laughing at my silly faces in between the better photos, but he knows exactly when and how to take a great picture just when I least expect it.
I’ve lived in Charlotte, NC for almost two years now and this was my first time seeing it covered in snow. There’s something so peaceful and almost eerie about walking outside and hearing what is usually a loud and bustling city become completely quiet. I threw on my Hunter boots to keep my feet warm and dry, and they’re on sale right now! (I rarely find these on any kind of sale.) Also, there are a few sizes left in this beautiful coat, so I found two similar styles here (on sale, love this) and here.
