Hello to my first readers! Welcome to Lilly & Grant, the blog for women wanting to make a statement without breaking the bank. I’m Jenna Tropea, recent alumni of Presbyterian College and current graduate student at Clemson University in Greenville, SC. It’s pretty obvious to friends and family, but for those of you who don’t know me personally, fashion is my life. Whether I’m frantically flipping through magazines, swooning over the latest fashion blog finds, or spending countless hours at night browsing through Pinterest (Addicting, am I right?!) I’m constantly looking. Looking at what’s new, what’s out, and what other fashion-crazed women around the world like me are chatting about. After years and years of creating such a love for this industry, I realized something… There’s a problem. There’s an abundance of fashion blogs that advertise beautiful clothing and accessories, but a lot of it isn’t affordable. What about the girls who live on a budget? We can’t afford that $1,000 pair of Louboutins! Now don’t get me wrong, I love to splurge every once in a while, but usually that’s not the case. This is the purpose of my blog: shopping on a budget. There’s nothing like finding that perfect piece that allows you to express yourself through personal style, without sacrificing a month’s worth of rent! And what fun would it be to find these wonderful deals and steals without sharing the love? I can’t wait to post my findings as I learn and grow through Lilly & Grant. I can only hope that my readers will follow along and enjoy the ride with me! Enjoy!
