Good morning! It’s back to real life after a long and amazing weekend. My best friend from college and I went to New Orleans for the first time and it was incredible! We ate so much good food, learned all about the city’s history, went on an awesome airboat tour, and walked until we couldn’t anymore. Stay tuned in the next week or so for a little travel guide! I’ll share everything we did and how you can see the city in one weekend. 

Although I wasn’t able to celebrate it properly, because 90 degree weather doesn’t exactly scream fall temps, the first day of fall was Thursday and I’m so excited it’s finally here! We won’t experience fall weather in NC for another month or so, more than likely. But regardless, I’m very excited to bring my fall clothes back out and start incorporating some of my favorite pieces into my work wardrobe. It may be hot outside, but the office is always freezing. So it’ll have to do for now!

I found this top in a super cute local boutique in my parent’s city. It’s the perfect crisp blouse that goes with everything. This one is very similar and under $100. I love this blouse paired with my favorite fall vest. I wear this combo with heels for work and plan on wearing with boots when it’s colder.
