My Go-To Casual Pieces

No matter what I wear on the blog or at work, there are definitely go-to pieces that I constantly reach for during the weekends, or whenever I feel like wearing a laid-back look… which is fairly often! My style is pretty casual in general, so it’s important that the pieces I wear so much are versatile and great quality. This outfit definitely embodies many of my ride or die pieces for winter weather, and will transition into spring!

The utility jacket. I own more utility jackets than I’d like to admit, but I wear them with everything! This one is my favorite of them all, and it’s under $70! 

The perfect tee. A must in every closet! I love this one in particular because it actually gets better the more you wash it, which is a rarity with many tees. Typically they pill, but not this one! I also have this in white and it’s under $25. 

Ponte leggings. Obviously, I’m team “Wear Leggings Like Pants” and I’m not afraid to show it! These are thick and look dressy. I actually wear them to work regularly with long blouses and flats! 

Neutral booties. I’m such a sucker for a great pair of ankle booties, and this is without a doubt my favorite and most worn pair. I was SO excited when they went on sale – because they never do – and they’re actually still on sale! 

A versatile tote bag. You guys know by now how much I love this bag. First of all, it’s reversible… need I say more, really? It’s actually time for me to buy a new one because I’ve used it SO much. There’s now a small cross-body version that’s perfect for traveling!
