Good morning! I hope everyone had an amazing labor day weekend. There’s really nothing better than waking up late on a Monday morning, am I right?

The past week or so has really had me in the mood for fall. The weather is cooling off slightly and I’m so glad that I can walk outside without sweating profusely… you understand if you live in the south! Also, Starbucks released the PSL and – regardless of the fact that I don’t like them that much – if that doesn’t scream fall I don’t know what does!

Now that the weather is cooling down, I’m on the hunt for closet staples that I can wear well into fall. You’ll typically find multiple variations of these three in my closet:

  1. The Basic Tee – You guys know how much I love my tees! I think I have at least 15 sitting in my closet right now. This one by Caslon is under $30 and super soft. I picked it up during Nordstrom’s Anniversary sale and have worn it almost every week since then. I plan on pairing it with cozy cardigans (Just ordered this one and I’m obsessed!) and classic blazers for work.
  2. Flattering Leggings – They’re the ultimate level of cozy, but sometimes it’s hard to find a pair versatile enough to dress up. I died over these Splendid leggings the first time I tried them on. They look like high quality jeans but are actually super soft leggings. I plan on wearing these with riding boots (just bought these on sale) constantly!
  3. Neutral booties – They’re probably the most versatile pair of shoes I own. I love wearing these Splendid booties with cutoffs and dresses and will wear them with distressed denim and moto jackets (love this one and this one) when it’s cooler!
