Hello, readers! I hope everyone enjoyed their weekend. I was definitely not ready to come back from the beach, but to be honest after a weekend in NYC and a week spent relaxing, it’s nice to be back on a routine. Although I’m sure I’ll take that back a few days from now!
We did zero shopping while at Surfside, for obvious reasons. We wanted to make the most of the beautiful weather and be on the beach as much as possible. However, I couldn’t help but pop into Market Commons’s impressive Anthropologie store before dinner one night. I had my eye on this long vest for a few weeks, and decided why not? I’m on vacation! I’m 100% convinced that this vest goes with every outfit, and adds a little splash of fall to my transitioning looks. I love it most paired with a simple, comfy sweater and skinny jeans. This piece does most of the talking in any outfit. Next, I’m thinking of pairing it with a similar style, but with knee high boots and this long cardigan I picked up at Madewell before vacay!
P.S. I wanted to point out that my Aldo lace-up flats are on sale for under $50! I’ve had a lot of questions on Instagram about comfort and quality. These are great shoes! I wore them all over NYFW with no issue. I’m considering snagging the nude version as well before they’re out of stock. Definitely a must for any shoe lover!
