Yep, it’s that time of year again. The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2018 begins tomorrow. I’ll be completely honest, there are reasons why I love AND hate this sale. It’s amazing because unlike many major retailers, Nordstrom releases brand new inventory for a fraction of the original price for a selected period of time. So, you can basically buy yourself a brand new wardrobe and save money before the merchandise resets to its original pricing. High fives all around to the Nordstrom mastermind that came up with that idea. Here are some of my favorites from last year that are making a comeback in this year’s catalog, so you’ll see what I mean. P.S. Amazing right? No one beats those prices. Unfortunately, there’s a downside. If you live near a Nordstrom, you probably know what it’s like to shop sales there. It can be an absolute nightmare for someone who’s not okay with crowds. I have only shopped the sale in-store once. After feeling like I needed to throw elbows to pick a sweater off a rack, I decided to start shopping the sale online. Honestly, it’s the way to go. You can shop from the comfort of your home and have your goodies delivered to you for free, OR you can choose the In-Store Pickup option during checkout. As an added bonus – and something I didn’t know until recently – Nordstrom offers curbside pickup! Introverts rejoice!
Early Access to the sale begins tomorrow, July 12 and ends when the sale is opened to the general public on July 20. This is exclusively for Nordstrom cardholders and gives them the opportunity to shop the sale before anyone else. If you’re not a cardholder, I 100% recommend it. I got mine a few years ago for this sale specifically, but cardholders receive a lot of other perks too.
