There are a few sales I really look forward to every fall and the Talbots Friends & Family Sale is definitely at the top of the list! I know you’re probably thinking, “Talbots? Isn’t that sort of a mom store?” To be honest, that was what I thought during college until my style started to evolve (AKA mature). Now, I can’t get enough of their feminine silhouettes and J.Crew-like pieces.

I’ve obsessed over this wool coat, last seen here, and for good reason. It’s the perfect investment coat for every occasion. Typically I’ll throw it over a sweater or jeans as I’m going out the door for coffee, but I’m also planning to wear it with a skirt and these OTK boots.
