Whenever I feel like I’m in a fashion slump, I like to reach for timeless pieces that have hung in my closet for years but never go out of style. It happens quite a bit around the holidays when life gets chaotic. I bought this Zara coat during NYFW last year, which at the time was a last-minute “I’m not prepared for NYC cold weather” purchase. Seriously, I was freezing my ass off! But now I wear it constantly because it’s so versatile. There’s something about an all black outfit with a pop of color that I really love, even if it’s a muted neutral. It’s a super easy chic look to put together.
